Personal informationCanadian authorities require international carriers to submit information regarding identity (nationality, date of birth, passport number ) of all passengers. In order to facilitate the process, you are kindly requested to provide these informations to your travel agent or airline at time of booking. ( official Canadian authorities PDF document) According to the International and French regulations, actually in force, an air carrier must deny boarding to any passenger not holding proper travel documents such as Passport, ID card, visa etc.. requested by the country of transit, of stopover, or of destination. Required documents to enter Saint-Pierre et Miquelon are as follows , according to Nationality of the passenger : Nationals of European Community : a valid Passport (also mandatory for transit in Canada) Canadian citizens : a valid Passport ,altough an official photo identification card with a birth certificate approving their citizenship are also accepted as a mean of compliance. Others Nationalities : a valid Passport with or without visa depending on the nationality. In any cases, make sure that any children either have their own Passport or photo ID or registered on their parents documents. Baggage allowanceThe exemption is 25 Kilos on all international flights including all connecting flights with Air France in Montreal (with the exception of Air France passengers in First or Business class for which it is 30 kilos). All baggage over the authorized limit will be accepted upon space availability and a charge will be levied as follows :

- The exemption is 10 Kilos for a baby without seat, flying on parents' knees.
Cabin baggages- One small bagage is allowed. This bagage should fit the templet (19cm x 40cm x 46cm) available at the registration desk and would not exceed a weight of 5 Kilos.
Lost or damaged baggageAir Saint-Pierre is not responsible for missing or delayed baggage not checked in for Saint-Pierre. Slighty damaged, marks, scratches or missing wheels etc… are normal wear and will not be part of any claim or settlement. As well, baggage above the normal allowed weight of 25 kilos and baggage already damaged at time of check-in, will not be considered for any claim of some sort.
Pets- A mandatory reservation is necessary.
- Pets are carried as checked or cabin baggage in a limited number and according to space availability.
- Payment of a transportation fee is required.
- Importation of animals in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon is strictly regulated, please contact the airline on that matter.
Check-in- Check-in is 1 hour ½ prior to departure for Halifax and St-John's flights - 2 hours prior to departure for Montreal flight
