Payment Policy

Payment must be made upon reservation and Air Saint-Pierre accepts 2 currencies for payment: the Euro and the Canadian dollar.

We accept many methods of payment:

  • 3 Major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express
  • Debit or Cash
  • Cheques

Modification Policy

1. Non-refundable/flexible fare (One way and round-trip tickets):

If a modification/re-validation of a date is made prior to the departure date, the following fees will be applied per leg modified:

2. In the case where the passenger wishes to modify the routing of the ticket:

A. Refundable Ticket:

  • If the new routing is more expensive than the original, they must pay the difference of the fare + the modification/re-validation fees,or,
  • If the new routing is less expensive than the original, the company will reimburse the difference minus the modification/re-validation fees.

B. Non-Refundable/flexible Ticket:

  • If the new routing is more expensive than the original, they must pay the difference of the fare + the modification/re-validation fees,or
  • If the new routing is less expensive than the original, there will be no reimbursement of the fare and the passenger will also have to the modification/re-validation fees.

Cancellation Policy

  • There is no penalty if a reservation is cancelled prior to any payment,
  • If you cancel your reservation and the ticket has been issued/paid we offer a few choices to our customers, depending on the type of ticket purchased:

1. Refundable ticket:

A refund can be requested for the full amount of any unused part of a ticket minus 10€ per unused leg to/from Canada ; 100€ per unused leg to/from Paris).:

Otherwise, the ticket will remain valid for a year after the original issue date. Modification/revalidation fees will be applied at the time of change.

2. Non-refundable/flexible tickets:

  • The ticket will remain valid for a year after issue. Modification/revalidation fees will apply at the time of change.
  • No refunds can be issued other than in the case of the death of the passenger following receipt of a death certificate, Air Saint-Pierre will then refund the totality of any unused part of a ticket minus 10€ per unused leg. For all Canadian departures, this fee will be converted to CAD based on that day’s exchange rate.

3. Non-refundable/fixed tickets:

  • The ticket is only valid for the date(s) for which it was issued.
  • No refunds can be issued other than in the case of the death of the passenger following receipt of a death certificate, Air Saint-Pierre will then refund the totality of any unused part of a ticket minus 10€ per unused leg. For all Canadian departures, this fee will be converted to CAD based on that day’s exchange rate.

Attention

It is the passenger(s) responsibility to ensure that all information (name, date, etc.) listed on the ticket(s) is correct. The company shall not be held responsible for any errors beyond a period of 24 hours after the ticket has been issued.

Identification Requirements

Required documents to enter Saint-Pierre et Miquelon

According to current international and French regulations, an air carrier must deny boarding to any passenger not holding proper travel documents: passport, ID card, birth certificate, travel visa, etc. requested by the country of transit, of stopover, or of destination.

Required documents to enter Saint-Pierre et Miquelon according to the nationality of the passenger are as follows:

  • Nationals of European countries: a valid passport as well as their eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) , both mandatory for transit within Canada). For French and EU nationals traveling on direct flights Paris – Saint-Pierre – Paris; the National ID card is also accepted.
  • Canadian citizens: a valid passport or, for stays of less than 90 days and arriving directly from Canada, an official government issued photo identification card: Driver’s license or driver’s license “plus”; a provincial identification card or provincial identification card “plus”; a secure certificate of Indian status issued after December 15, 2009; a Permanent Resident Card
  • All other nationalities: a valid passport with or without visa depending on the nationality.
  • Babies and children must either have their own passport or photo ID and birth certificate.

Required documents to (re-)enter Canada

Canadian authorities require international carriers to submit information regarding identity (nationality, date of birth, passport number or driver’s licence number) of all passengers. In order to facilitate the process, you are kindly requested to provide this information to your travel agent or airline at time of booking. Pax Notification

  • Canadian citizens only: If traveling without a passport, an official government issued photo identification card (i.e.: driver’s licence*) and birth certificate proving Canadian nationality is required to return to Canada.
  • French nationals residing in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and traveling directly from Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon : the passport is preferred but a national identification card is also accepted.
  • All other nationalities: a valid passport with or without visa depending on the nationality.

*Some provincial motor registration offices offer an ID card for individuals who do not possess a driver’s licence or are under the legal driving age; please contact your local motor registration office for more details.

Note

There may be situations where Air Saint-Pierre is requested by law to collect, use, or disclose personal information about you without your knowledge or consent. These situations are most likely to arise when you are travelling with us and a government authority has requested the release of certain information. Air Saint-Pierre may be required to disclose to customs and immigration authorities (of any country) information that we hold about you and your travel arrangements.

Also, in accordance with Article L.232-7 of the Internal Security Code, Air Saint-Pierre may be required to transmit the booking, registration and boarding data of its passengers (API / PNR) to the French administration, according to the treatment modalities and for the purposes set out in Decree No. 2014-1095 of 26/09/2014 amended by Decree 2018/714 of 3/08/18.)
